Announcing KJUS: The Kentucky Journal of Undergraduate Scholarship

The Kentucky Journal of Undergraduate Scholarship (KJUS) is a new, peer-reviewed online journal that provides an unparalleled opportunity for undergraduates in Kentucky to publish their work. Topics vary by discipline and are categorized into one of several domains, including:

• Life Sciences

• Engineering

• Social Sciences

• Humanities

• Creative Writing

• Performing Arts

Housed at Eastern Kentucky University, KJUS invites submissions from undergraduate students from all public, private, and community colleges and universities across Kentucky. Students can develop KJUS manuscripts in a number of ways, including their own independent research, faculty mentored research, or existing coursework.

Students can also revise major scholarly works for submission, including: mentored scholarly projects or capstone papers from courses, independent studies with faculty, and thesis projects. KJUS looks forward to showcasing student scholarship from the post-secondary institutions across the commonwealth. Manuscripts may be submitted online.
