Composition Program and Noel Studio to Host Dr. Dànielle Nicole DeVoss
The EKU Composition program, in collaboration with the Noel Studio, will host digital rhetoric scholar Dr. Dànielle Nicole DeVoss, Professor of Professional Writing in the Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and American Cultures at Michigan State University, for a series of workshops to take place on Thursday, April 4, in the Noel Studio’s Discovery Classroom. The workshops will focus on analyzing and producing multimodal compositions.
The preliminary schedule is available, with workshops replicated in the morning and afternoon:
9:30-10:30am - Analyzing Multimodal Compositions
11am-noon - Producing Multimodal Compositions
2-3pm - Analyzing Multimodal Compositions
3:30-4:30pm - Producing Multimodal Compositions
The day will also feature a working lunch from noon-2pm if participants are interested in discussing projects created during the workshop or ideas for integrated concepts into teaching and learning spaces on campus. Participants are encouraged to register in advance for the working lunch.
