Noel Studio Develops Approach for Creativity Assessment
While many strategies for teaching creativity exist, few programs have refined approaches for assessing creative development. Issue 9.1 of the Journal of Artistic and Creative Education features an article coauthored by Noel Studio researchers that outlines a process for creativity assessment and provides tools developed in the CRE 101 class.
The Noel Studio’s Minor in Applied Creative Thinking (ACT) currently offers classes focused on the development of creative strategies among undergraduate students at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU). During the spring 2016 semester, EKU students will enroll in CRE 101, the Introduction to Applied Creative Thinking, and CRE 301, Texts and Technologies of Creativity.
