Noel Studio to Feature Creativity Week and Full Programming Schedule this Spring

The Noel Studio will feature a number of programs this semester dedicated to helping students develop effective communication products and practices through critical and creative thinking.

During the spring semester, the Noel Studio will offer students the opportunity to explore their creative side during Creativity Week, which will run Monday, February 27-Friday, March 2, in the Noel Studio Greenhouse. Students will be able to participate in interactive installations, games, and projects throughout the week intended to encourage creative thinking on campus.

Members of the Noel Studio team will also hold a Literature Review Workshop on Saturday, February 25 from 1-5pm. Interested students should pre-register online. This session will cover the literature review process, including researching, using Zotero to organize research, planning, drafting, and formatting. A light lunch will be provided.

We will hold the Speech Anxiety Workshop on Wednesday, March 28 from 5-6pm. This workshop will offer techniques to minimize the side effects and even utilize your anxiety to the benefit of your speech.

Finally, the Noel Studio will host the 2nd public speaking competition on Friday, April 20 from 5-8pm, to coincide with the National Association of Communication Centers conference being held in the Noel Studio.
