Noel Studio to Host Pedagogicon 2.0
The Noel Studio for Academic Creativity will host the second Pedagogicon, focused on “Closing the Achievement Gap through Scholarly and Creative Teaching” on Friday, May 22, 2015. From 2011 - 2013, the Pedagogicon was part of the Kentucky Innovation Conference and is now a joint production of the CPE, the CPE Faculty Development Workgroup, and Eastern Kentucky University. The conference theme, “Closing theAchievement Gap through Scholarly and Creative Teaching,” encourages us to examine and promote those strategies of deliberate practice that constitute highly effective instruction. Members of the university community are encouraged to submit proposals for interactive presentations, panels, workshops, posters, installations, and teaching exercises.
