Noel Studio Hosts Joint Training Seminar with UNCG Digital ACT Studio

As part of their ongoing training and professional development and active institutional members of the Southeastern Writing Center Association, Noel Studio Consultants at EKU and Digiteers from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro’s Digital ACT Studio met online to conduct a two-hour seminar on consulting visual and digital communication.

The two groups, consisting of over 30 students between the two programs, discussed strategies for consulting multimodal projects (projects that include textual, visual, aural, and oral modes). Throughout the collaborative seminar, Noel Studio Consultants and Digital ACT Studio Digiteers shared responses to samples and experiences consulting multimodal projects in the two centers.

The Noel Studio hosts ongoing training seminars for Consultants each Friday from 2-4pm in the Discovery Classroom. Beginning in fall 2015, Consultants will have the option to take CRE 350, Studio Theory & Practice, for course credit.
