Noel Studio Students Inducted into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society

Noel Studio Students Inducted into Phi Kappa Phi

The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is the highest academic honor to which EKU students may aspire. Each fall and spring, the EKU chapter (chapter 122) inducts high-achieving students into membership. The standards for election to Phi Kappa Phi are higher than those of the other broad-based academic societies on campus.  In accordance with national standards for membership, student candidates must have completed 24 semester hours, or the equivalent, at EKU. Students are selected from the upper 10% of the senior class; the upper 7.5% percent of students with junior standing upon completion of 72 hours; and graduate or professional students who rank in the upper 10% percent of all enrolled graduate students at EKU.

During the Fall 2014 induction ceremony, the Noel Studio had three of its student staff members invited into membership:

  • Rachel Gains, Undergraduate Consultant
  • Kelsey Strong, Research Assistant
  • Alexandra Szarabajko, Undergraduate Consultant

Congratulations to Rachel, Kelsey, and Alexandra! Please visit the Phi Kappa Phi page for more details about the society’s activities at EKU and nationally.
