November Consultant of the Month

Our November Consultant of the Month is Nan Campbell--the unofficial beekeeper of EKU!

Nan is a senior Horticulture major from Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She recently placed first at the National Honors Council Conference for her poster on Assessing Pollinator Food Sources and Phenology on Eastern Kentucky University’s campus. 

Nan's love of plants and organic gardening creates interesting opportunities for her, such as living in a tent in Canada for three months for an internship. Additionally, she spent the summer in Europe.

Nan's favorite part of being a consultant at the Noel Studio is the "light bulb" moment. She said there is nothing more satisfying than seeing students finally have a good point to begin from in their paper, which makes for a great consultation. 

If you haven't come to the Studio yet, Nan says you should because it's a very welcoming space and even if you don't figure out everything during your first consultation, you can keep coming back to get to that perfect paper.
