Noel Studio Launches First Year Writers’ Studio

The Noel Studio for Academic Creativity is excited to announce the First Year Writers’ Studio (FYWS) launched in September and is operational. Designed to provide a supportive environment for ENG 101 students, the FYWS gives students a place to discuss their ideas, ask questions and voice any concerns among peers.

CRE 101 Students Visit the Business Incubator

Students in the Noel Studio’s CRE 101 course are collaborating with EKU’s Business Incubator through the newly established iVenture program. Throughout the semester, students hone skills in applied creative thinking and apply them to a variety of academic, professional, and business contexts.

Noel Studio Hiring Writing Fellows, Consultants, and Desk Consultants

The Noel Studio for Academic Creativity is hiring for three positions: Writing Fellows, Consultants, and Desk Consultants. The Writing Fellows position is new. Training will begin in the fall 2013 semester and selected Writing Fellows will begin working with ENG 101 students at the beginning of the spring 2014 semester.
